The butting process that is in operation at KeyTec is a specialized process that converts wire at high speed into specific pin or nail like products.
This butting process is applied for pins as used in batteries and can be done with wire in different compositions and/or surface finishes. This butting/forming of the nail head can be combined with grinding of tip of the nail. KeyTec has a dedicated production environment and cleaning processes available to achieve the right functional quality.
